Guam, Mariana Islands
   The People and Their Villages
On the weekends, the military personnel stationed on Guam, would make frequent trips to the native villages on the island. The Gaumanians welcomed the visitors into their villages and into their homes.  They permitted themselves to be photographed at work and at play. They were very  warm and friendly people. When we left the Island of Guam to return to the United States, we bought home with us wonderful  memories of  the people of Guam and their hospitality.
The photographs in this section are reminders of the Island of Guam and it's Citizens, "The Way It Was" so many years ago.  Should any of the people of
Guam, viewing  this web site, recognize some of the persons appearing in these photographs and would like to have their names added to the photograph, please do so by contacting the Web Master with that information.
